Wont be much to this one.
Summary: Excitement was overwhelming for a high risk tornado day in Nebraska. It never happened. Storms down in Kansas went up early and the anvil blowoff resulted in less instability than what was forecasted. The weak instability resulted in less forcing which was unable to overcome a typical June cap. Called it a chase after not even seeing a rain drop only to arrive back in Des Moines to a tornado warned squall line. At least we got to hear the sirens.
Tornado probs for the day.
Storm reports for the day. Our area = BUST. None of those tornado reports yielded a really photogenic tornado. The high risk for severe weather verified, but not by chase standards.
