2008 Chase Logs
2008 was about as active and deadly as a year gets severe weather wise. As such, it was a hectic, crazy year. I expanded my network among fellow chasers, learned some really harsh lessons, had some really close calls, and filmed the most intense footage of my chase career. The footage landed me a brief gig with FOX news which also taught me a lesson in dealing with the media. 2008 also saw the death of my beloved chase vehicle, Aerostorm…which this website is named after.
JANUARY 7TH – IL/IN – Rare outbreak of severe weather. Interstate storms.[No photos - video only.]
FEBRUARY 5TH – AR/TN – Deadly “super Tuesday” outbreak. 
APRIL 10TH – IL – Tornado warned outflow storms. 
APRIL 25TH – IA/ IL – HP storm, Rock Falls, IL funnel. 
MAY 2ND -IL – A bad toothache bust, general non-severe storms 
MAY 10TH -AR/MS – Possible tornado near Clarksdale, MS 
MAY 23RD - KS – Wild chase, tornadoes, hail, mud and more! 
MAY 24TH - NE – Bust with very photogenic non severe storms.
