2009 Chase Logs
2009. So many choice words for this year. I entered it with a brand new, more aggressive chase plan. I also had a more capable vehicle and a new chase partner that shares similar strategics as I do. The weather pattern did not favor chasers at all and the prize catches were often needles in the haystack. 2009 lacked good tornado producing setups, but provided allot of great structure. Local setups? Almost non existent. I chased allot of smaller setups, and found they can be more rewarding than the big ones. I also greatly expanded my presence within the community. People now know I exist.
APRIL 26TH – OK/TX – High risk fail, slender rope funnel. 
JUNE 6TH – IA – Cap bust with large convergence. 
JUNE 13TH – TX – Tornado warned storm, scenery shots. 
JUNE 14TH – KS/CO – Elephant trunk tornado, beastly HP storm.
